The Faculty of Law and Political science of the University of Tehran is honored to present the newly established academic journal "Society, Development, and Commercial Law Review" dedicated to the study and research of special academic scopes. We are also particulary pleased to announce that this is to be the first Iranian law journal in English language.
The necessity of carrying out researches on the legal challenges of social and economic development in particular in the developing countries, has incited this gathering to  invite researchers, professors, and students in all fields of social sciences, economics, politics and law to submit their manuscripts to our Review, since we firmly believe that the interdisciplinary researches in such fields can better solve the existing shortages in humanities.

Our aimes and goals are:
- Increasing cooperation in Law studies in international aspects
- Making a more proper basis for better interaction in humanities
- Using the international capacities of the legal system of Iran and developing and expanding the academic  basis of the country beyond its borders
- Interacting with professors and researchers, both domestic and foreign, for retriving and making reformations in the law of developing countries
- Studying the impact of different branches of Law on human life
- Creating a proper background for consultation between researchers and professors
- Representing new methods of reading and interpretation of Law focusing on developing interdisciplinary majors related to human societies
